Job Overview & Description

PSC Construction is seeking a full-time Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate construction projects for heavy industrial and private clients.

  • Contribute to project conceptualization, including feasibility, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Oversee project organization and execution to meet timelines and budgets.
  • Lead and manage site personnel to ensure productivity and performance.
  • Direct site performance, bidding, scheduling, and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols in correlation with the Safety Director.
  • Spend 25% of time in the field for client meetings, inspections, and oversight.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost estimates, schedules, and proposals.
  • Manage project and client expectations, ensuring alignment.
  • Review design plans for constructability.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and administering contracts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead weekly progress meetings to track schedules and budgets.
  • Serve as the primary communication link between stakeholders.
  • Promote and maintain a culture of safety at all levels.
  • Mentor and develop project team members.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Construction Management and 5+ years of project management/coordination or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and project services.
  • Ability to manage staff, delegate tasks, and mentor others.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills with quick implementation.
  • Adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ability to oversee job cost projections and develop cost-effective budgets.
  • Strong communication skills with staff, vendors, contractors, and clients.
  • Ability to manage conflicts and deliver "win-win" outcomes.
  • Knowledge of labor, materials, and associated timelines.
  • Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Construction safety standards.
  • Integrity, trustworthiness, and a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Bluebeam; project management software knowledge is a plus.
